Job description

The Source of International Quality is looking for an experienced and motivated Accountant to join our team in Duqm, Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial activities and ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and financial records.
• Prepare invoices, payments, receipts, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable.
• Assist with monthly financial reports and closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of company expenses and transactions.
• Coordinate with management, suppliers, customers, and banks when required.
• Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Ensure proper filing and organization of financial documents.
• Support the company with audits and other accounting requirements.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Currently based in Oman.
• Willing and able to relocate to Duqm.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the seafood, manufacturing, trading, or export industry will be an advantage.
