Accountant Location: Muscat, Oman

Job description

Position: Senior Accountant

Location: Muscat, Oman

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
Experience in Inventory Control and Stock Management.
Experience managing accounts for multiple branches.
Strong knowledge of VAT and financial reporting.
Ability to prepare monthly Profit & Loss reports.
Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo, Zoho Books, or Tally Prime.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience in Retail, Perfume, FMCG, or Trading companies is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounting operations for 4 retail branches.
Monitor inventory movements and stock variances.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
Reconcile bank accounts and supplier accounts.
Ensure VAT compliance and accurate record keeping.
Coordinate stock audits and branch reconciliations.
