Admin and Accounts Officer


Job description

We are looking for an experienced and organized Admin and Accounts Officer to handle daily administrative operations and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will support office coordination, bookkeeping, invoice processing, expense tracking, vendor management, and overall business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Duties

  • Manage daily office operations and administrative activities
  • Maintain office files, records, and documentation
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, and appointments
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when needed
  • Support HR and management with administrative tasks
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and clients

Accounts & Finance Duties

  • Maintain accounting records and financial documentation
  • Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
  • Record daily transactions in accounting software
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and petty cash
  • Assist in payroll preparation
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and expense summaries
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
  • Support audits and tax documentation preparation
  • Filing VAT return .

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in administration and accounting roles
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and office procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with accounting software such as TallyPrime, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar systems

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Time management skills
  • Basic financial reporting knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience

  • 7–10 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of GCC experience required
  • Experience in office administration and bookkeeping
  • Familiarity with local tax and compliance procedures

Working Conditions

  • Full-time office-based role
  • Standard working hours as per company policy
  • Candidates may be required to work on weekends during emergencies

Salary

  • RO 400 – 500 (Depending on experience)
