Job Summary

Burhan Oil and Trade Services is seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in civil construction, infrastructure projects, commercial maintenance, villa construction, and Oil & Gas projects. Experience working in Oman and on Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) locations is highly preferred. The role requires expertise in project execution, site coordination, planning, and compliance with project standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage civil construction and maintenance activities at project sites.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documents (AFC/PEFS/FEED).
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Conduct site inspections, quantity verification, and progress monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with PDO standards, HSE requirements, and quality procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Support project billing, IPC preparation, and project documentation.
• Monitor project timelines, costs, and quality standards.
• Maintain project records, contractual correspondence, and site documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 to 4+ years of experience as a Civil Project Engineer, preferably in Oman and PDO locations.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, project coordination, and site execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with PDO on-plot and off-plot approvals and documentation processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on PDO contracts and Oil & Gas infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of local project execution standards and regulatory compliance in Oman.
• Primavera Planning certification or relevant engineering certifications will be an added advantage.
• Experience in commercial maintenance and infrastructure development projects.
