Key Responsibilities Lead projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring full lifecycle governance. Organize Project Initiation Meetings and define clear project charters, plans, budgets, and schedules. Identify, track, manage, and resolve project tasks, issues, risks, and dependencies. Ensure all deliverables meet PMO standards and fulfill both stated and implied user requirements. Deliver IT projects within agreed timelines, resource allocations, and financial constraints. Define and monitor key performance metrics to assess project health and deliverable quality. Set clear, challenging, and achievable expectations for project teams and provide constructive performance feedback. Foster strong team collaboration, motivation, and accountability through effective leadership. Facilitate Project Steering Committee and Working Committee meetings with comprehensive reporting. Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready project documentation per bank standards. Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality assurance across all project phases. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the bank’s Project Management framework, processes, and templates. Mentor and train junior staff on project management best practices. Qualifications & Competencies Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field (Master’s or PMP certification is a plus). 8+ years of proven experience in IT Project Management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry. Strong understanding of core banking systems and digital channels (e.g., mobile banking, internet banking). Experience working with Big 4 consulting firms is highly desirable. Expert-level written and verbal communication skills. Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Strong logical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail. Demonstrated people leadership and team-building capabilities.
