Looking for a Logistics coordinator

Job descriptions:

• Coordinate with the drivers for loading and ensure the trucks reach customer locations on time

• Ensure proper vehicle procedures and vehicle maintenance and repair as and when due. 

• Ensure proper filing and documentation is in place for all vehicles

• To keep a track of the 100% vehicle utilization, communicate with the line manager in case vehicle is fully utilized. 

•Respond to RFQ and BOQ raised by clients by taking the rate approval. Ensure the underutilized vehicle is combined on same route to save cost on Fleet. 

• Coordinating with customer, 3pl transportation, facilitate Customs clearance, shipping documentation, loading and offloading, cross docking of the trucks. 

• Ensure the Submission of the invoice by liaising with clients and stake holders upon the completion of projects . Prepare timely reports of vehicle movement, fuel consumption, maintenance, accidents, and other fleet related issues

• Ensure all vehicles have journey sheets, POD and that records of fuel consumption are accurate. Ensure proper transport Vehicle Inbound and out bound data is maintained

• Coordinate the outbound operation with the production team based on the sales order plan

• Keep logs regarding the total distance travelled by our Trucks. 

• Monitor driver productivity and develop driver performance and safety standards

• Ensure compliance with rules and policies for fleet management

• Maintain and update all files related to transport

• Liaise with POS and other teams for container movements. Hands on experience in  FMS ,Navis CAP N4 and IVMS

• Ensure invoices are matching the HTI and Trip sheet every month along with diesel Invoices and IVMS

• Perform other duties as required by line manager
