Job Title: Dashboard & Data Analytics Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dashboard & Data Analytics Specialist to design, enhance, and maintain dashboards and analytics solutions that drive business insights and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Power BI (On-Prem & Cloud), Qlik, DAX, SQL, and MS Excel, with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.

This role requires close collaboration with management, IT teams, and external vendors to develop dashboards across multiple systems and support the organization’s data-driven transformation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new dashboards and insights based on business and management requirements.
• Enhance and optimize existing dashboards for performance and usability.
• Research and implement new visualization techniques to improve data storytelling.
• Analyze complex datasets as directed by management and present findings via dashboards.
• Work with multiple vendors to understand existing database structures and integrate them into dashboards.
• Support dashboard development across 5–6 business systems/applications (approx. 25 dashboards) during the engagement.
• Implement and maintain on-premise Power BI Reporting Server, SharePoint Lists (on-premise), and SQL Server integrations.
• Provide technical support in areas such as Gateway installation, Direct Query approach, and Power BI migration from on-premise to cloud.
• Explore and understand system data schemas; suggest meaningful dashboards that highlight system correlations and generate insights for decision-making.
• Conduct knowledge transfer, training sessions, and user enablement workshops on dashboarding and data analytics.
• Mentor and upskill junior resources assigned to work alongside.
• Create and deliver comprehensive documentation for all developed dashboards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant IT experience in Dashboarding and Data Analytics.
• Strong expertise in Power BI (On-Premise & Cloud), Qlik, DAX programming, and MS Excel.
• Proven experience working with on-premise Power BI Reporting Server, SharePoint Lists (as data source), and SQL Server.
• Hands-on knowledge of Power BI cloud transition strategies, including Gateway setup and Direct Query configurations.
• Strong understanding of database structures, data modeling, and schema design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to generate insights from complex data.
• Strong communication skills to interact with management, technical teams, and vendors.
• Ability to deliver knowledge sharing sessions and provide guidance to other resources.
• Documentation skills for creating end-to-end technical and functional dashboards references.
