Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the finance team in achieving accuracy and efficiency in reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis

Ensure timely tax filings (VAT, WHT, etc.) and compliance with local financial regulations

Monitor cash flow and support treasury functions

Handle payroll accounting and coordinate with HR when required

Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities

Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial records

Support management with financial data and insights for decision-making

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CMA, CPA) are a plus

Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and local tax regulations

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems)

Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
