Accountant – Full-Time

Tamween is an online wholesale marketplace specializing in food and consumer products. The company serves groceries, supermarkets, offices, hotels, and homes. Since launching in Oman, Tamween has expanded to cater to a more extensive customer base.

Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will handle various accounting tasks, including but not limited to managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

Record and reconcile financial transactions.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and corporate policies.

Manage accounts payable and receivable.

Handle payroll and employee-related financial matters.

Monitor cash flow and assist with financial planning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience as an accountant (1-2 years preferred).

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferably an Omani national.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
